OXNARD- (October 27, 2009) – On Friday, September 25, 2009 Kratos hosted the 12th Annual Golf Classic, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, at River Ridge Golf Course in Oxnard. This year, the tourney was a huge success, bringing in double last year’s tournament net proceeds with a grand total of $6,000 to benefit the Clubs. “Kratos believes in investing in the communities we operate in. To that end, we are pleased to support the Boys & Girls Clubs again this year through our charity benefit tournament,” said Bill Egan, vice president of the local Kratos office.

The tournament was coordinated by the local office of SYS Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions. The event was Co-Chaired by Chuck Citera and Dave Fucito of Kratos. “Over the past five years, Kratos (and formerly SYS Technologies) has donated close to $15,000 in net proceeds from our tournament to a very worthwhile charity – the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme,” said event chair, Dave Fucito.

The proceeds from this event will help support the programs and services to more than 7,200 youth at the 18 Boys & Girls Club locations throughout the Oxnard and Port Hueneme communities. The Clubs’ mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
