Buffalo Wild Wings… Blazin Challenge Everyone’s invited to participate! MAY 9, 2012

Oxnard, Calif.—Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, and  its Young Professionals Association, YPNchallenge you to a wing eaten’ competition, on Wednesday, May 9th,  2012 from 5:00PM-8:00PM, at Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 1600 E Gonzales Ave, in Oxnard, CA 93036.  Teams of five adults compete by eating the hottest wings in town and for  record time! Teams pay a $25.00 entry fee and secure team sponsorship dollars, all in an effort to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs! Prizes for Best in the Blazin Challenge and Best in Team Sponsorship.  Other prizes include headband, coupon packet and a plaque.

Besides participating and/or rooting on your favorite team, you can dine and support  the Boys & Girls Clubs by presenting a coupon to your server designating 15 % of your of  total food and non-alcoholic beverage purchase directly to the Club!  Come on out and join in the fun!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme (http://www.positiveplace4kids.org) comprises 25 neighborhood-based facilities serving 8,700+ youth annually through Club membership and community outreach. Known as “The Positive Place for Kids,” the Clubs provide guidance-oriented character development programs on a daily basis for children 6-18 years old, conducted by a full-time professional staff. Key Boys & Girls Club programs emphasize leadership development, education and career exploration, financial literacy, health and life skills, the arts, sports, fitness and recreation, and family outreach.
