The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme is truly proud of the results achieved in 2013. The success that has been achieved can directly be attributed to our committed board, staff, volunteers, financial supporters and partners. We are excited about 2014 and are optimistic that we will be stronger, wiser and progressive in 2014.

Our 2013 Impact:

  • 2,800 youth per day attended one of our18 local Club locations
  • We provided 60+ programs to more than 9,000 youth ages 6-18
  • Job training and employment opportunities were provided to more than 280 youth
  • More than 500,000 meals and snacks were served in 2013
  • 7,000 youth participated in our Sports, Fitness and Recreation Programs
  • We paid for 31 youth to receive vocational training

This past year as we struggled financially, we stood tall and asked our community to rally around our cause. And YOU did! Now we just need to build upon that support. We are a nonprofit 501C3 and must raise a $4.5 million budget annually. We are not part of any city, county or local governmental agency. We are a community-based organization, governed by a local volunteer board of directors.

In 2013 we developed and strengthened our partnerships with educators, business professionals, individuals, entrepreneurs, foundations and youth advocates in collaboration to serve our children. This year we will continue to develop partnerships and collaborations in the best interest of our organization and our children.

Our goal continues to be to prepare youth with a 21st century skill set that will help them achieve success in life.

Please join our efforts. I can always be reached at 805-815-4959 x203 or WE are open to your ideas, concerns, suggestions and recommendations. For it really does take an entire community to embrace and build assets in our kids!

Thanks for your belief, dedication and support for those kids that need us most.
