We are proud to announce that BGCOP received two national awards from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America: 2015 Gateway to Impact gold level award for increased membership and a League of Eagles silver-level award for outstanding board leadership.

The Gateway to Impact award recognizes Boys & Girls Clubs that achieved significant increases in average daily attendance and capacity utilization during the calendar year.

The League of Eagles award goes to Clubs that achieved 90 percent or more of the key performance indicators for strong boards as stated in their 2014 annual reports. The League of Eagles Awards are a key element of BGCA’s Leading Edge 2020 Board Transformation Strategy, which advances new tools training and technical assistance to the board of directors at local Boys & Girls Clubs..

“Our board works very hard to keep our Club running. This kind of recognition shows us we are on the right path and inspires us to continue making strides for our kids,” said Erin Antrim, chief executive officer, BGCOP
