Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme

Spring is almost here and that means our teens are heading off to the Keystone conference in Texas! What an opportunity for these young people to attend a national conference with thousands of teens from across the country. One of the main areas of focus for the conference is to teach teens how to give back to their community and club, something that is a staple of programming in all of our clubs.

Youth who learn the values of good character and citizenship not only set a good example for peers and become role models for others – they also grow into adults who make the world a better place.

Forty-nine percent* of teens who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme volunteer in their community on a monthly basis, as compared to 45% of teens nationally throughout Boys & Girls Clubs.

This summer, help us further engage kids in our community by providing opportunities for them to become involved through community service activities, job shadow opportunities, internships or summer jobs!

With passion for kids!
